|Ceres Solution's provides the ability to capture your ideas and make them happen. Our philosophy is to empower small to medium sized organisations with knowledge, networks and strategies as well as short term operational assistance. Ceres offers practical solutions.|
Projects to date include, partnering with Performing Lines to create Sound Travellers, a national touring program for sound art/electronica, improvised jazz and contemporary classical music. During the 3 years of the project over 45,000 people attended a Sound Travellers supported event. At the conclusion of the project in 2010, we had supported over 56 tours around the country and developed infrastructure programs such as Refraction, a touring circuit with New Weird, exploring a looping festival, Cockatoo Calling, the Sculthorpe Songbook and a Viva la Gong tour. In 2012 we launched a new touring partnership with Sydney Improvised Music Association.
Ceres works with organisations such as the Illawarra Performing Arts Centre and Casula Powerhouse providing strategic advice on their music programs. We also produce strategic and operational plans, across performing artforms.
Other streams of work includes producing an Australian music roadshow concept which toured to South America, with artists, William Barton, Kristin Berardi and James Sherlock, Misinterprotato and dva.
Examples of our diversity was the production of one of the first online viral campaigns in the not for profit sector for the Tasmanian Devils - www.tassiedevilappeal.org. This campaign was launched on 17 October 2008 with an interactive feed, breed and release theme.
